Dr. Salman Masud
Dr. Salman Masud is an academic anesthesiologist affiliated with University of Utah, with 40 plus years of service in pediatric and cardiac sub-specialty. Last 25 years at Shriners Hospital for Children in Salt Lake City. Trained at Baylor College of Medicine and Royal College of Surgeons. For over two decades, he’s overseen Khadeeja Islamic Weekend School in West Valley City as its principal.
He is a trustee and former president of Islamic Society of Greater Salt Lake. Passionate about Inter-faith dialogue, mediation and conflict resolution. Also volunteers for pediatric palliative care medicine and Department of corrections Utah. Born and raised in Pakistan, relocated to Utah from Canada in 1996. Married with five children, is an avid gardener and loves to cook.
