Kindness Is a Better Mindset

“The ideals which have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been kindness, beauty, and truth”- Albert Einstein

In this world today it can be hard to find kindness in yourself but it’s always there. When Albert Einstein says “The ideals which have lighted my way” I think about building a lightened path for my future days. This inspires me to be kind. Not only kind to myself but to others around me as well.

Being kind and being someone everyone wants to be around can inspire more and more to also be kind even when it isn’t returned. You never know what others may be going through, but you can still be someone to lighten their day and help them get through their struggles.

You can share kindness in the simplest ways. It could be opening the door for someone to give a smile. Sometimes sharing kindness sounds small but small acts of kindness make the world a better place for yourself and others. Kindness even makes you happy! When you look on the bright side and always strive to be kind you will live a happier life. I like when Albert Einstein says “time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully” because it shows you how kindness has driven him to have a more cheerful life.

As you read this you might be thinking of ways to be more kind. My advice to you is to start small and work your way up. You can start by working on yourself to have a better mindset in life. But by still being kind to others, spreading the love and making everyone feel loved.
